It's pretty obvious who Jackal's going to spectate when he changes his name. It's usually whoever killed him last, and even if Topshot didn't kill him he's been getting accused of cheating for a while so his reasoning for thinking he was getting spectated was decent. It is considering that Topshot has been getting accused of cheating. And if he really did kill him right before he started spectating it's almost guaranteed to be on him That's not really how ban appeals work. He has no way to prove his innocence and you just banned him with a sketchy clip. If he was using aimlock it would've been a direct flick to Jackal instead of flicking between multiple different spots above him This is about as much evidence shown on the Panini player report. This isn't solid concrete evidence so Topshot shouldn't be required to show his own proof to be unbanned. Something as serious as a permanent ban for hacking should only be done in the condition that you have proof, what's shown in the video is suspicious to say the least but still isn't definite proof. Asking Topshot or GB to provide proof is just plain stupid, it's completely irrelevant if he was told to start flicking. And if anyone tries to argue that the video is concrete proof, it obviously isn't if this post isn't locked and denied. Even after doing this I wouldn't say it's certain he's cheating, like I said before it's almost like the evidence provided on the panini report, it's sketchy as fuck but it's nothing to ban him for. +1

Sums up how I feel perfectly. I was thinking how I was going to say this but luckily you came up on the last page. Permanent bans should be based on 100% indisputable proof. These clips of him spinning around are less than indisputable to say the least. Spectating someone in third person can make them out to be way more sus than actually are. Their aim could be a quarter of their screen off but to the spectator it looks like it’s right on line. The whole “I killed Jackal, I’m going to get spectated” joke is more than just a joke. There’s weight behind it. It’s not a surprise in the slightest that he was the one being spectated. Honestly I’m 99% sure this kid hacks and everyone and their mother knows he breaks his fire rate more than Jackal has complained about the AEK. Despite that, I’m not convinced by the evidence submitted that he is without a doubt hacking. +1

If that was an actual spinbot his character would have most likely kept moving in one direction instead of jittering around like that.

Just like with Panini's report, it's very suspicious, but not enough evidence. Just like one of the Karmas said, +0.5. He shouldn't be banned right now, but he should still be watched, as that clip was somewhat suspicious.

I'm just gonna put out a recommendation for both sides. If someone is blatantly cheating (with evidence of it clearly fucking happening), don't defend the hacker because they play on your country. One person isn't going to affect a war to any large degree. This has been a problem ever since the server came out, and it would be nice if both sides would just own up to someone cheating instead of the constant divide. This has happened time and time again with both sides disagreeing, and in the end the person was banned for cheating anyway.

It's not good to pretend to have hacks. Sure, you probably got a lucky kill, but that's not a good way to play if you were told a staff member is watching you. Sure, you probably aren't hacking. Maybe you are. But pretending to have hacks is gonna be bad for you.

I know cheats when i see them I don't want to seem like a skeptic or skid but the last spin was to inconsistent to be cheats and the first could've just been him flicking. From me i doubt hes cheating with me only knowing the kid for 20 mins but you don't need to take this to heart but if you do thanks. To be quite honest this was an issue before around November, A bug would occur and wouldn't hide the spectator's player model when they were spectating someone. So anyone and everyone could tell if a staff member was spectating someone. How long you were able to see them depended on each person, it varies. Not saying this happened in this case but for future reference this is a known bug.

Slow the video down to .25 and watch when he spins he doesn't lock on to shit This is true with aimbot spin bot but not aimbot so he could still be using aimbot, but due to the inaccuracy of where his gun points and the lack of a snap I doubt it was either. yes some spin bots point to the sky while spinning but I don't think that's what happened as it would only look at the sky nowhere else unless he had his spin really low. which would be even more stupid He can choose not to insta shoot that's standard on any client. So this doesn't really help instead of just pausing it why don't you slow it down to .25 speed, you can clearly see he never even looked at the ranger. This is so clearly a guy spinning his mouse I could get into gmod and make this without turning my DPI up at all. +1 this is so clearly not aimbot it makes me question the staff team. There wasn't even a snap and shows no signs of even looking like a fucking spin bot. If you are gonna accuse people of cheats at least know what certain cheats look like.

Something I'd like to point out: I went into the army channel a few minutes ago to ask topshot a few questions. Everything seemed pretty much in line until I asked him the question in the video. (My mic was muted, but I asked him something along the lines of "Did you only spin like crazy one time?"). He contradicts himself, as shown by the new evidence that jackal posted. To sum it up: Topshot contradicts himself by saying he only spun one time, but as shown in the video he spins like crazy again. This shows that there's one of three options. A. Topshot forgot he spun randomly for some reason. B. GB told him to do it again (even though they didn't). C. He's cheating.

You thought him randomly flicking into the sky was good enough to permanently ban him? You didn't even ban Panini with the evidence you had on him, you knew it wasn't good enough to straight up ban him so you made a report. I get that Huncho is very suspicious but you shouldn't be jumping the gun on perma bans.

I understand what you are saying here, but in cases like this, the defendant should have the ability to say their side of this as he is saying that something else. So like I said, the defendant should provide some sort of proof of their side.

If this had an online report instead of talked about behind the scenes this wouldn't look as bad tbh. Especially with it being pressed by people who have been accused in the past of using unsavory methods. He has claimed that he only did it to mock the person spectating him, simply because the person in the past dealt with claims exactly like he has. An appeal and hard watch from now on should be expected.

Im told that the only way to know if your getting spectated is if your a staff or a cheater, I fail to know some of your points in the appeal, almost all of them are hints towards cheating. Saying that you killed him isn't a reason knowing hes gonna spectate you -1

Yes "Bruh", I do. I prefer him to wait that time in order to get flow of the server. He obviously hasn't been on in a while before the 3 weeks on the server. Rules do change and people on the server change. 3 weeks seems too rushed . All of this is just personal input, I don't make the calls for staff. Just doing my job. Regardless, you do have potential just get a little more used to the server and you'll make a fine staff member.

Sorry to bring all of this confusion. I was trying to make my app sound more professional by using the statement "removing minges and rulebreakers from the factions and the server". What I mean by that is my goal to make sure people that hope onto the server with the only intention of breaking the rules and causing trouble don't anymore. I don't mean directly removing people from there factions. The reason I applied for staff is that I had players on the server keep coming to be about rule breakers when there's no staff on or there busy. I only want to get rid of players that only troll, break rules, and harass other players.

I think he means that its hard to build a good relationship with other players and get yourself known in both RU and US. You as a staff can't remove someone from a SOC Faction, That's up to the leader to do. Altough you can of course tell the leader and complain about the person which would maybe make the leader kick him, that's the closest you can get to removing someone from a SOC Faction.

Thank you for the response. I know 3 weeks usually isn't much time but because of my previous staff experience on the server, I didn't think that was an issue. Though time is an important factor it can wildly miss judge. Someone with 3 weeks can easily put triple the time into the server at the same time compared to other players. To explain the second part, there's a lot of rule breakers in general that come through the server, and when I say "remove these people from the factions" I mean remove rule breakers. Let's say someone one from a SOC Faction Mass RDM's and kill over 10 people on purpose. Because there in a SOC Faction does that mean they can be removed?
