Time for this overdue resignation

For anyone wondering why I'm doing this, the server just isn't fun anymore. I feel like over the months I put plenty in and got plenty out, but for the time being, my time here is all done. This isn't the end for me on Garnet though. I'm 100% making a full return to garnet once SWRP comes out, I might even try to be staff there, and I'll still be fairly active on the forums. I'll still check on them multiple times a day so don't think I'm completely done here. Thanks for everyone who's been around here over the months. Garnet genuinely got me through the pandemic. I'm an extroverted person, and garnet helped me keep my interaction with people up. I might come back to staffing on drp one day, but it's definitely gonna be at least a few months. Now shout out time woo

@Canlex You're one of the best people I've met around here. I'm sorry I didn't keep my promise of rising through the ranks with you, but you've got great things ahead of you. Through almost everything you've backed me up or helped me out and I won't ever forget about you. Let me know when you get manager  

@Fetn I don't really have much to say to you, but you trained me, so to some extent, without you I would have never even become staff in the first place, so thanks for that.

@GrosCave You supervised my training and did most of it, yay! You've been a good friend of mine throughout all of my staffing. You make the coolest builds ever, I want to learn how do to that one day! I knew from the first day I was staffing that you would become manager one day, and I'm really happy you finally attained that goal!

@Shin_Tsukimi Back in april when you first accepted my staff app I was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. I had spent days just reloading and reloading waiting for the notification that a manager had commented on my app. You're easily the most eligible candidate for S.A., and I really hope you get it one day. Everything you've done for me over these past few months staffing has gone such a long way, and I'll never forget about it.

@P41NT3D Sadly without me being active recently I haven't been able to see the joy and cheer you bring to everyone. I can't wait to see you eventually reach a higher rank and start being in charge of people. 

@smileeface I still remember that day you accused me of impersonating myself. From what I've seen you're great at staffing, and you've just been a good friend. 

@JackJJ I always kinda looked up to you as the staff member I wanted to be. You're a great example of what staff should try being, and you should keep up the good work. 

@Dodge_Guy04(chikn burg) You were one of the best friends I made on my time playing. Every time I would see you around while playing, I knew it was gonna be a good time. Whether we were based up with like 40 printers, or going around doing who knows what, things were always a lot better with you around. Sadly I have no way of communicating with you outside of this, so if you see this resignation please send me your discord or something.

@Glorbnob Gamer and a half (cringe intended). Nobody put up with my shenanigans like you. We would have literal RDM battles outside of spawn trying to kill eachother in the most creative ways possible, and you could've gotten me banned in an instant if you wanted, but hey seeing as I have a clean record in terms of bans and warns, you never did! The fact you stayed my friend even after I would mess with your builds as you were making them says a lot. I hope I don't lose contact with you, as you're easily one of my closest friends on garnet.

@Pointer I'm so happy you decided to re-apply, you were a great staff member before and I'm sure you'll do even better now.

@Ba11ParkFrank41 It sucks that you resigned not too long after your journey to becoming staff again had finally succeeded, but I'm sure you'll be back one day. 

@lostgod You haven't been on since april, but you are the reason I kept playing gmod. I didn't know if I liked the game until the day you took me under your wind and helped me run a gunshop with you. It was something so little and yet it had such a monumental affect on me. 

@Adric Most talented guy ever! You really need to start putting yourself out there on the internet more and sharing your amazing ukulele skills with the world.

@GrandDaddyStalin That time I tried building the stupid border and you came flying up as spiderman was pretty epic tbh. I tried arguing and arguing that no, no it was allowed, but then again, I always knew it wasn't haha. 

@tdizz Pretty awesome guy, I almost bought rust because of you. From that first day I approached you on the street we've been friends, and I really hope that doesn't end soon. (if you want an invite to the tdizz hate club just dm me)

@ShankNinja has binds for everything and I don't know how many keys you have on your keyboard to have them all set up. Happy now?

I hate that things have to end here, but I clearly shouldn't have my rank anymore. I don't play anymore and to be completely honest this game isn't too much fun for me. To everyone I forgot to mention, you still mean a lot to me, so thank you for everything you've done.

Looking forward, I'm gonna definitely take a break from drp for probably a few months but I'll be around for SWRP once thats a thing. I've already secured a spot on the Coruscant Guard, and I might go for staff if I really like that server. Like I said earlier, I'm still gonna be around on the forums, but my activity might dwindle a bit. Who knows, I might even go for forum mod one day. Either way, thank you everyone for everything, and this isn't the last you've seen of ol' Aidan.
