Raid Rules Update

Issue

So recently a rule was changed so that your allowed to raid and kill people that are inside Buildings. Because of this rule change people are aloud to come and throw a grenade, killing everyone in the middle of debrief (As shown in the image below). This rule allows major disruptions to debriefs and tryouts. If your hosting any tryouts or debrief, you can be killed even if the area is claimed according to the current server rules. A good example is at the end of one of the wars we had a group of RU toss a cluster of grenades into US Debrief and kill everyone inside. This it's very frustrating for anyone on the US Side, Less of an issue for RU. This needs to change or its going to lead to unneeded toxicity

Solutions

  1. Revert the rule to how it was
  2. Make Debrief Area (Both RU/US) Off-Limits to Raid's
  3. Prevent Raids right before War and After

-1 it's a few seconds of feed, you can do the same or put guards up.

This is some 300 IQ stuff right here.  RU always has people watching for raids before and after war, something I rarely will see the US doing.  -1

US DB is open to nades over the wall, RU DB is closed in and hard to attack. This is a biased rule against the US, you guys don't understand.

Guards to help a lot, but you can't stop them from calling raid and immediately throwing grenades across the walls around the US and into the Debrief, Plus most of our guys are in the debrief listening to it.

It already isn't allowed for you to raid right after a war. Also they should be adverting DB assuming they actually want to raid with this rule change. Pretty sure its there anyway. However, I don't understand how this would lead to toxicity its just a raid. 😕

Based on the server rules in the MOTD, Raiding right after a war is allowed. Unless there are rules that aren't posted there. Responding to the point of this leading to toxicity. When people unfairly get killed it leads to some people getting upset and arguing in chat. This was seen after a recent incident. (Can't say I wasn't upset too)

-1. And here's why to all 3 solution points.

The rule before was that you couldn't fire into buildings. Buildings provide great cover for both attackers and defenders which makes things more interesting for breaching and what not. This can make things more fun instead of just throwing US into the front gate of RU and just saying, "Go kill ruskis" and the same equivalent for the RU Raiding US.

Point 2:

Basically you are asking for a safe space because you, or whoever is leading the briefing, or whoever the officers are on, are too lazy to assign people to be on watch for people that might advance on the base right after a war. Just assign one or two people to keep a lookout and call attention to people and get them ready for an incoming threat instead of just assuming "They're busy with their own briefing".

Point 3:

To explain what I'm about to say, lets give a perfect example. That feed made by Ethan was after a war that the Russians had lost. If you lost the war, would you just want to take it? Just let them take that win and not take a punch back? No. You would want revenge. You want to strike back and show you mean business.

This rule proposal is to supposedly stop the interruption of briefings so that we can all communicate with each other without interruption because it's important to do because there's so much to talk about. Let's be real. (this next number is fabricated but it will prove a point) At least 90% of briefings follow at least one of these formats:

1. We won. Good war, nothing to say.

2. We lost. You all did garbage.

3. We lost but we did the best we could. "wE gOt BaSeCaMpEd!!! REEEEEEEEEEEE"

Most briefings don't actually point out shit that people did wrong. There's nothing special that happens in these briefings. It always follows the same DB Template that has been used for years.

So what did we learn? How about we put people on posts after war and be vigilant and watchful of our enemy, instead of just be complete sitting ducks in a building with only one entrance (which happens to be a very big door that is easy for explosives to travel through)
