Why should we choose you over other applicants?: First, I have a good amount of experience creating events with tools. I've used permaprops, pre-saved single player layouts, skybox tricks, and extensive training on proper drop pod + enemy placement to keep things fair yet engaging. Some refresher courses will be nice since I don't remember everything, but outside of that I should be able to run events on my own when given permission. I've made multiple events which were well received, obviously a few that weren't but I learned from those mistakes and created something better. Second, I'm able to be on in the early mornings on most days and will be able to create events for any early birds. It may help with numbers during those hours and keep people engaged so we have a consistent population earlier in the day since they'll have something to do still. My hours are very flexible, maybe not the most consistent but during my time I can promise quality and a bit of quantity. I also have some enjoyable ideas for smaller groups of troops, while having requirements for certain roles so everyone doesn't feel like their certifications are worthless in the morning hours. If so, Include details: No How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: 4-6 Hours In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: Gamemasters are supposed to give the players a fun experience, and make sure it includes the entire server. The GM having fun is important, but it must be engaging to the players, making sure they're always doing something without them leaving because they went to the venator and got hit by MHB Drop pods for the 8th time in a day. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I would be able to create enjoyable EC's, interesting hostage situations that don't feel entirely hopeless, and make events that have each role feel required. Everyone plays a small part, make a W with commendations for all. I won't be the best voice actor, but I can make some interesting story lines. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: Making large scale events where I whisper in the Ground Command's ear on what they should do, or become Ground Command, leading each unit or specialization to a specific location where their skills can be used, and without perfect teamwork the event will get harder, but with teamwork everything goes right without having to roll. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] Event 1: High Priority. This will require 3 EC's at the minimum, and a small amount of prep time. A Senator was captured and taken to Naboo. Protected by a ray shield. 327th Needs to set up a proper FOB and Medbay for the Senator's return, and will hold with CG to protect another Senator who sent the distress beacon in the first place. 41st and 91st will split across the map and search for the generator for the shield, which afterwards the 501st and 212th will move to destroy it while 41st and 91st provide covering fire. 104th will be negotiating and buying time until the shield goes down, which then they'll move to a defensive position and protect the Senator if demands aren't met in time, otherwise the 104th will deliver on their promises. Afterwards, they escort the Senator back and call it a day as it becomes downtime and the Senator speaks with Navy about the experience. Event 2: Unknown Object. A great follow up for "High Priority", but it can be done regardless, with a small or large pop but requires one Navy and functions best on an off world with the intention of forming a new FOB, giving every battalion jobs of clearing wildlife and small duties. A random box falls out of the sky, not a Holocron, a Jedi present can inspect it and find no presence of force. It will be given to Naval, as it's not a bomb and cannot be opened without Naval access, and appears to be Republic. After it's opened through a scene of RP, the Naval realizes that they've opened up a beacon, and it activated, giving the CIS an exact location, for which a sudden defense must be launched and a ride to the CIS ship will be organized and a strike team (Most likely 501st, 212th, and SOB) will be sent while the rest continue defense, 327th along with Shock and 104th will be holding a defense with 41st + 91st set up long range strikes, taking out any high priority ground commanders. It will end with the CIS ship being disposed of in however the strike team sees fit, then the Naval will decide what to do with the box. Event 3: No Signal. Requires at least 3 EC's, and 3 GMs for consistent spawning and tabs. One GM per FOB. 3 FOBs went offline and everyone's sent to figure it out. The teams will be sorted by Naval, with each being assigned a Ground Command, organized into 1, 2, and 3. Each team will go to their FOB's to find Droids, Wildlife, or Zombies respectively, each FOB having a different creature. Each FOB has a VIP that needs to be saved, and if all 3 survive it's revealed that each FOB was hit by coincidence, and each source will need to be taken out. Even if they die, it can be discovered, allowing the Ground Command and Naval to decide which source should be cleared, and make the planet habitable by republic forces, giving more options for an FOB or Passive Off world. This will lead into 3 extra events, one of which can be done immediately if completed fast enough. Event 4: The Infected. Requires a swampy esc. map and a Boss EC. Continuation of "No Signal." This event has the Republic discovering the cause of the infection that ravaged the previous base, and was tracked back to planet "Xyz" (It can have any name.) Once there, the Ground Command that commanded the original infected team will take the reigns, sending 41st and 91st scouting while everyone else creates a proper perimeter. 41st and 91st are not to engage, and if an engagement starts and heavy blaster fire is heard, a horde will approach and put a lot of pressure on the group, destroying some fortifications as punishment. If everything is smooth, 41st and 91st will be able to find the breeding ground of the parasite and see a Mandalorian get turned into an infected. 41st and 91st will report back, having the main force push up in 3 groups, creating a pitch fork for an assault. Once it's clear, the Mandalorian will attack each team at least once, not able to be killed, but only be around to give a proper scare until the final duel in which he'll be properly put down by the combined might of the republic forces. Searching his body will give the Queen Spore, allowing a cure to be made and will allow one FOB to be cleared. Event 5: The Eggs. Requires a Foresty map and a Boss EC. Continuation of "No Signal." This event has the Republic discovering the cause of the Wildlife holding the previous FOB. It will be linked back to planet "Xyz" (It can have any name.) Once there, the Ground Command that commanded the original Wildlife team will take the reigns, sending 41st, 91st, and a Jedi to find these creature's nests while the other Battalions hold the line against the wildlife. 41st, 91st and the Jedi will cut through the large vines blocking the eggs, allowing them to inspect them. Upon inspection, it appears they travel through a full tunnel, and they'll need to get an airdrop of heavy explosives to destroy the nest. As they leave, they see a Mandalorian covered in vines, speaking just as the Aliens do before firing pot shots, requiring the scouting team to retreat or die. Once returned, the signal to bring heavy power will be sent out, but the aliens respond to the beacon. The Mandalorian will be hovering around, shooting not to kill but to pester, and giving an opening for the creatures to run out in full force and attempt to ravage the landing area. Once the creatures are cleared out, the Mandalorian will retreat to the cave, allowing a group of EOD to move ahead. Once there, the Mandalorian will be waiting, giving one last fight before being finally put down and allowing the Eggs to be sent away. If anyone chooses to investigate, it will be revealed that a teleporter would be stuck in the nest, giving the eggs easy access to the FOB, but now both the teleporter and nest are clear, which allows one more FOB to be reverted to it's original state. Event 6: The Remnants. Requires a Ship map representing an abandoned CIS Cruiser and 3 ECs. Continuation of "No Signal." This event has the Republic discovering the cause of the CIS Remnants, which upon inspection have orders stretching to a Super Tactical Droid in an abandoned CIS Ship, telling them to hold their position, and is constantly sending fresh pods when the old ones run out of battery. Once they've arrived, the Ground Command that commanded the original Droid team will take the reigns, sending small detachments to scour the halls, cleaning up droids as they go. During the searches, a random Commando Droid and Super Battle Droid will suddenly attack the troopers, only providing a scare in their dark environment, but no real threat. It will be revealed the bridge is locked away and the Droid has a 'Hostage' in terms of a Naval Petty Officer. They're protected by a ray shield, but the groups searching will find the console, and disable the Ray shield. The 104th, who will be negotiating for the 'hostage' will notice the dropped shield. If they enter, they will be blown to bits before a ship wide battle ensues, but if they group up and create a proper push, the bridge will be quickly taken with the Super Tactical Droid, the Commando Droid and Super Battle Droid being caught off guard, missing their shots and will be taken care of quickly. It will be discovered that the officer was dead all along, and the ship will either be scrapped, or blown up depending on what the group wants to do.

As far as my ability compared to others goes, I have the ability to adapt to situations quickly, I am able to learn new things quickly, and I am able to contribute to the community on a consistent basis, lastly I have dealt with rp that requires improvisation. Due to me being able to adapt and learn things quickly I would be able to pick up gming quite fast as well as learn from feedback given to improve my events. I am also able to contribute to the community through supporting gms with their events, aiding batts with maintaining pop through keeping them entertained, and due to my time zone I will be able to contribute later in the day as well as during high pop times. Lastly due to my position as a leading engineer I have had to show my ability to adapt to rp situations in which there is nothing that can be done by the book. I should also be chosen over other applicants because I know what it means to be a part of a team and how to contribute successfully to one. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I can contribute to RP as a member of the gm team in various ways including providing feedback to fellow gms, providing more choice driven rp, and by sharing event ideas with other members of the gm team to allow for more intricate events to be completed. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: Contributing RP that is more affected by the decisions of the players rather than the traditional set scenario for events. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] Event 1 (small on world): Lost Convoy A rear admiral has landed at Aurek and is inbound to Anaxes base when the convoy he is in is attacked and decimated. Naval then decides to send either ARC /RC/a recon batt to investigate the convoy not responding, but when arriving all they find is a disabled AT-TE, scrap metal, and bodies, the rear admiral not among them. After this discovery all forces are deployed to find the force that attacked the convoy, the rear admiral, and what remains of the clones that were in the convoy. Event 2 (on world portion): The Gun Runners An alarm within the NCC sounds as an unidentified ship flies past anaxes base, a quick scan brings up a CG report on a ship linked to weapon smuggling, with this information Naval uses the automated AA defense cannons to disable the ship and then send a patrol to investigate the downed ship. When rounding the corner to zeta the patrol is engaged by a group of smugglers attempting to stop the clones from moving closer to the crash site, upon breaking the smugglers line and finding the crash site one last smuggler crawls his way out of the crash and collapses, will the clones interrogate the smuggler or search the remnants of the ships systems for information. After successfully searching the ships systems or getting information from the smuggler the clones will learn of the location of a smuggling operation supporting CIS backed rebels, the clones will then head out on their mission. (Off world portion gm_vyten) : After arriving on Vyten Republic forces will set up a FOB but while doing so all comms will come to life with a message, "Leave or die" following this all republic comms devices will fail. Following this a recon unit with engineers will be deployed to a nearby comms tower to re-establish communications. After this objective is completed the republic forces may move freely to find the CIS backed rebels and the smugglers who are supplying them. After locating the smuggler stronghold the assigned battalions may engage if given permission by navy or they may send in negotiators to strike a deal with them. While this is going down the forces assigned to find the rebels will continue their search and engage when naval gives the go ahead. After both of the groups are dealt with the republic will then move to secure any smuggled weapons unless the smugglers have been negotiated with. Event 3 (off world, rp_monsilva_crimson The Spy An alarm within the NCC sounds as a distress signal comes in from a republic agent assigned to find information of CIS generals. The distress signal is traced back to monsilva, along with the distress signal is a message and coordinates, the message states that the agent managed to disable a watch tower and the droids within leaving a landing zone for the clones, using this landing zone the clones must push forward and find the agent to obtain the information he has gathered(possible time limit, if not done in time the agent dies and the information is lost). After rescuing the agent the republic forces must retreat to the landing zone and hold their position until evac arrives to recover them. If the agent is successfully recovered he will have information on a CIS generals location and defenses(second part if first portion is liked). Event 4 (small on world): The Hold Outs After a major CIS attack is repelled alarms in both zeta and aurek sound off within the NCC, recon units are dispatched to investigate and find a ray shield blocking the way to zeta and aurek. After the recon forces are rerouted to find terminals liked to the ray shield ENGs are dispatched to take control of the terminals. After taking the ray shield down the recon forces continue on their mission and come across a group of commando droids holding FOB zetas commander hostage and a small CIS task force within aurek. 104th/CG are dispatched to deal with the hostage situation within zeta and a small force consisting of attack battalions are stationed outside of aurek to await the order to attack. The CIS commando droids make their demands clear before attempting to rally with the forces at aurek, taking the hostage with them. After the commandos rally within aurek they execute the hostage as CIS reinforcements arrive, the republic forces must then act swiftly to stop the CIS from completing their mission. Event 5 (offworld, rp_alderaan): The traitors within The NCC receives a message from alderaan requesting aid in holding off a CIS invasion force, after a quick battle on the venator the troops land on the ground and get situated within alderaans bunker before manning the city walls to hold off the invaders, after doing so the clones are told that they will be staying on alderaan for awhile to ensure that the CIS are gone for good, each battalion is them dismissed, but not all is as it seems. CIS backed rebels assassinate the mayor of the walled city before returning to the shadows. After several battalions are dispatched to find and deal with the rebels CIS forces move on the city causing the remaining clone battalions to fight for the city once more.

I enjoy my time here and I try to make friends everywhere I go. I'm a social guy checking and making sure everyone is ok in there irl life aswell. Because sometimes people just need some guidance and someone to talk to; no matter what I'll always be there for them. Most of my irl friends are not really big into Stars Wars so it's nice having friends here in the SWRP community. Even though I can get annoyed irl... I never bring that into SWRP community because having a bad attitude will make others have one too. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: The responsibilities of a GM is not only making events for the players, but also making a safe environment for the players. Some people this is what they love to do, because I am that someone. I love Star Wars so much and the people in this community too. Everyone I've met during my time here as been friendly and kind. Some have been bad but I want to make where it stays friendly and kind. The players are always more important showing as they are the "core" of the server. Without the staff though, they would never exist without the players. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] Event 1: Dreaded City A rebellion has toppled the neighborhood Republic Representative and taken him prisoner. Once the players are sent in to arrange with the rebels, they rapidly realize the CIS has built up a presense within the world which it had coordinated the fake rebellion. With the Republic armada tied up in a space fight against the CIS and no other support, the republic strengths are stranded within the city, and must make their way through a CIS ruled city, discover the Senator, free him and help the Republic armada in their fight, reestablishing Republic run the show over the CIS. Event 2: Bug In The System Our base just gotten a transmission. It came from one of our most vital spies for the Republic. Amid this transmission, he specified he was in possession of the precise area of a CIS fuel refinery, aswell as its format. Be that as it may, the transmission suddenly ended as his transport apparently crashed. The troopers must go to his final known area, discover his ship aswell as the intel he had talked about. We have covered up a tracking device on one of the shipments and followed its area to one of Coruscant's levels beneath our radar. Our mission is to head down and discover out what happened to our cargo. The troops send to the under level to which they discover the civilians are non-cooperative as they feel they have been overlooked within the eyes of the republic. Whereas working their way around the city a squad comes under fire from on of the civilians who pronounces himself to be portion of a group working within the under city most dangerous gangs. At that point Marshal law is pronounced and we continue to move door to door to discover potential suspects and eventually kill the group. Having completed their objective, they discover the lost cargo on board one of the groups cargo frigates and return to the base. Event 5: Below Zero So to begin, troops are stationed on a Snowy planet Republic station that has been under attack by pirates. The troops head and help the base at that point you discover out the pirates have been smuggling things off world to the CIS Which have been building a unused sort of droid. Once you capture the pirates leaders 2IC he leads you toward his leader. The troops learn of this and arrange to snare the CIS fleet holding up to assemble the supplies for the modern droid. You seize the Transport and head to the coordinates of the CIS Plant in advancement of this modern droid and annihilate it.

  12. I don't believe someone should get reserves from lets say 2016. But I think if someone didn't have a chance of getting reserves from 2020 or 2021 they definitely should have a chance if they plan on coming back. But at the same time the state of the reserves, If a faction needs help that's up to the faction leader to ask the executives to allow them to "handpick" that old player into an officer spot. Yes I completely agree with this statement. Maybe there could be a change on if they can get Base Faction reserves but not SOC Faction reserves if they are on the same side. I'm in this exact same spot rn as GA, If my predecessor gives me reserves that means I would have to go to Tali. Which isn't something that I want to be forced to do. Obviously people would say that "its not fair that you have reserves and I don't cause I went to Rangers after GB. "Yes But thats a SOC Faction and also the executives have every right to remove some reserves from some people. Like if they can deem that I'm not going to provide to Army anymore they should be able to do that after discussion with Higher staff. Cause after all, the 9 months that I have spent in Base Faction Army feels like it would go to waste. But I do believe there should be some limit on how long you have reserves for unless theres some issue like Medical or military leave that you can't play the server anymore that can push that longer. This can be enforced by the staff if they see you on a lot and proof sent to the executives to see that he or she is back and off the Leave. Then If they comeback they have to come off of it or play on the other side. I know this prolly will get a lot of hate saying this but at Theos stand point people would just use the officer permissions cause they have reserves as they didn't provide the faction anything and wanted to remove that which is totally true. But thing against that is they have earned reserves from spending their time in the faction and contributed back when they weren't on reserves. And overall is that this is forcing players to do things and thats not what makes the server fun. When you lose fun you lose the good player base and just lose pop in general. Just overall, People work hard in factions and reserves is what they are possibly given after their hard work. As the state right now of the reserves it feels like players are forced to do things cause they don't want to lose their reserves on their respective side. Which theres ways to counter people and how long they can have them. Like maybe only a year or something and they go poof. Just some Ideas. I hope you all like this input. thank you!

Going to test the new optimization patch momentarily to see what results people were seeing :^) I optimized some mundane shit, so I could add a cool little "GENERAL SERVER OPTIMIZATIONS" but who cares lol. EDIT: War System Optimized for Server and Client performance Expect slightly increased FPS, and much smoother server performance Cleared up all overlapping UIs Objectives Conquest Squad System Repositioned to bottom of screen from top to avoid conflicts with War hud Additionally, the health bars were changed from a bright pink (can only think this is here because of testing) to red. HUD Slight modifications Darker coloring, more compact, all for improved visibility And more importantly.. nobody let me know the DS Medal would overlap your level Rather than fixing it though, I just got rid of other players' level display from the HUD, as it was entirely unnecessary Team Chat & Squad Access thank you @Theos for reporting this issue to me The two features were implemented for the following classes: Taliban Army : Insurgent Taliban Army : Marksman US Army : Sniper US Army : Infiltrator

  21. Denied Firstly, I've said before that personally I do want disguising to be re-added to the server, so this denial is not a permanent stance. Considering the concerns for abuse of the system, the inherent meta-gaming in detection, and the current standards of behaviour among players on the server, adding disguising to the server like this would not sit right. With the future introduction of MP, and some of their duties, this would help with the meta-gaming concerns, but the other concerns are player-driven and so we would look to see changes from the server away from the 'push the boundaries' mentality MRP has right now.

  23. To begin, while this is an excellent point, I do not think it applies here. I find Stigz to be very mature despite his age, and I behoove you to try and take a closer inspection of him over the next few days. You will see what I mean. Stigz has been one of the most helpful, mature, and successful members of 055. Having helped Soap and I to bring back the faction to where it needs to be. I would consistently find myself looking to Stigz, and seeing how excellent an officer he is, and when I heard he was planning on making a staff application, I knew it was the next step for him. While I typically don't comment on staff applications unless I explicitly give the person my referral, I truly believe that Stigz has an incredibly strong future within the staff team, and beyond. It is rare to find people newer members like this especially, like mentioned previously, at a younger age. This is arguable one of the easiest +1s I've ever given out. +1.

  25. Accepted Absolutely ridiculous for a Lead Admin who just got the rank 3 days ago to act like this to a player, you are supposed to be the example Toddd. That rule is bullshit as well, you are allowed to use explosives to defend your base as long as you don't kill anyone outside your base or who hasn't damaged you. I don't care what the situation is, even if Todd was right about the rule he shouldn't be talking to you like that in OOC about a sit. Danny will be talked to, but the majority of the blame falls on Toddd and he will be receiving a 1 rank demotion for his behavior. He has proven he is not ready to be an executive. To clarify on the rule however, explosives ARE okay however it has to be possible to fight back with a gun, you can't just throw them and give them no chance to fight back. If they have 0 chance to fight back with only a gun that is considered a unfair advantage which is against our rules. Thank you for your report.
