Past experiences as staff: I played this server a lot around 4-5 years ago and staffed for a few months as well, to be honest I did buy vip mod(still have the purchase in !donate)  as I was young and dont remember the name that I played under but I pushed Smod before quitting.

Why should I be Chosen

 Why should we choose you over other applicants:

     I know I would be a good choice for the staff team for a few reasons over other people. As mentioned below I have never been warned/punished in my playtime on the server. This for one shows that I know the rules very well and secondly shows that there isn’t even an instance in which I would Tilt rdm or break rules because I was upset. I make an active effort to follow all the rules and always have positive interactions with other people on the server. The second reason that I am a fantastic choice is my experience in real life that is directly correlated with working on the staff team, in highschool I was a top 5 ranked debater in the nation and now I coach debate, I coach on a team with over 30 students and 10 coaches from around the country that is entirely online opposed to traditional school teams, This environment is a structured environment with coworkers that I actively engage with and collaboratively come up with solutions to problems, whether it be helping a student get better or dealing with team issues between the people. If we are being honest the server is largely made up of people that are very young and my experience working non-stop with 6th-12th graders in a professional environment is an experience that will be useful as a staff member. As mentioned briefly above I make a very active effort to facilitate good interactions with community members, and always act in a very professional manner around staff and in the sits that I have been involved with. Next reason is I have a great level of forgiveness and patience, in Gmod for example, I got insided by someone pretty high reputation within the server, within a day we were back to being chill and basing together, I believe that when I interact with people there should be some level of a clean slate, you never know what is going on in someone's life and I think that benefit of the doubt is sometimes left out even in a game that seems trivial to most of us who play. The amount of people that I have talked to that have really used Gmod as an outlet in their life, is actually very significant and I really want to preserve this community as an outlet where people can express themselves without extreme toxicity or any other issues that might arise. The last reason you should choose me over other applicants is my willingness to help players, in OOC if there is a question that is asked that I know the answer to I always make an effort to respond, I don’t want to become staff just to be better than other players or to assume a position of power but instead out of my own enjoyment and love for the game and ultimately I hope that I can create a space that people enjoy as much as I have enjoyed the time I have spent making friends and playing on Garnet.

 

I will address the one concern that most people will have with my application, I am a printer farmer and I won’t deny that, I don’t RP as much as most people and therefore don’t interact with every person all the time, I know a lot of you will have not had any interactions with me besides seeing me type in OOC and Advert chat and to those people I would say, I entirely understand that and respect any decision for a neutral or -1 due to it, I would encourage you to give me a chance though, I am on a lot and am excited to get to know a lot of the community that I haven’t interacted with via sits and staffing and I have some lit event Ideas that I would love to run at some point.



Prior History
 

Have you ever been banned or punished on any server: I was banned once falsely and it was appealed within 30 minutes. I have only ever been reported once for a Fail base but have never gotten jailed or warned or punished.

Have you made any previous applications, If so when: None on the new forums, My old staff apps were up on the old forum, but I honestly don’t even remember what Name I played under.

How much time do you have to contribute to the role: As mentioned above in my paragraph, I spend most of my time Farming printers and would dedicate over 4 hours a day to the role and probably a lot more, as I said I'm a printer farmer lol so when the coolers are up I'll take any sit haha.

 

Hobbies

If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod: As mentioned above debate is a huge passion for me that I pursue, My one other passion is Competitive Skiing, I am a competitive skier that competes in Freeride/Big mountain skiing, Over the past few years I have dedicated a lot of myself to pursuing the craft and something to note is when I get dedicated for something and really enjoy it I spend lots of time perfecting my craft. While Skiing and Gmod are not similar at all I can say that my work ethic that has allowed me the potential of breakthrough on the professional Skiing scene, is the same work ethic that I always apply to activities that I enjoy such as Gmod and Games writ large. for skiing last year I skied 97 days and am going for 100 this year!!

Closing notes

To finish off this application I just wanted to thank every community member for just being here, Garnet would not be the same without every that makes up the server and I am so grateful that I found this awesome little community and I hope I can shine some light into peoples day and assist whoever may need it. Thank you to everyone who responds and let me know if you have any questions for me personally whether you are on the fence about anything or you just want to ask any question at all.

oh this is a good one, +1 for sure… i remember the day you joined the server after forever i took your first sit and ever since you’ve been such a great player within the community. good luck on your application man it’d be nice to have you on the team.

im all for seeing you join the staff team, i know we've had a few issues but nothing major and they were just over the whole incident with the 20 someodd prints that we took, which i would have been mad too, other than that youre really chill the few other times ive seen you in game +1 for me

Can't see any reason not to give you a +1 mate, thanks for writing things out in different colors that show you should be apart of our staff team because it makes reading easier.  Plus you say you've made it to s.mod before so you can't be that bad. Also dk why but @Nutter chain?
