INTRO

This the last update of 2019 for MilitaryRP

Thank you guys for an amazing year.

This was a notably hard year for me as well as a couple other long-timers in the community

With 2020 being less than a week away, many of us are going to try out best to improve, and I have a very strong commitment to making MilitaryRP a better server

it is 3AM and I've been at this for two days now, I most definitely made an error somewhere, so please be kind.

 

 

 

Weapon Base

Ricochet

CW2.0 Weapon Ricochet has been disabled.

This may or may not prove to be a successful change, in case we are having issues, both features will be re-implemented.

Penetration remained active just to allow for wall-banging through certain surfaces, however, could be removed it caused an issue with certain playermodels.

cw 2.0 > lua > weapons > base edit - just to remember

 

 

Ammo

I'm not sure why I decided to be a total prick, but at one point I did, and I made it so you have to spam E on ammo in order to resupply it.

This has now been patched to where you only need to press your use key, E, once per weapon in order to grab as many magazines as the given ammo supply allows.

 

 

New Weapons

So you guys can stop asking for them

MP40

ALL TESTED STRICTLY IN SINGLEPLAYER ENVIRONMENT

WILL REQUIRE EXTRA TWEAKING AND CUSTOMIZATION

 

 

Mosin Nagant

This weapon was incorrectly placed in the DMR category as opposed to a sniper. It was correctly assigned back its Sniper damage and recoil settings!

(firing rate will stay a bit slower than a typical sniper, as it is a bolt-action)

 

 

M14 EBR

Following some complaints regarding the weapon's power and accuracy, I took a closer look and realized it is nearly identical to its DMR counterparts; SVT40, MK14.

Maybe DMRs are just being slept on? who knows.

I was wondering what to do, so I just slowed down its firing rate by about 45% and took away its automatic firing mode.

 

Neostead T-2000

As per Pencil's suggestion, the weapon was given a more 'unique' handling and feel

This weapon now has a significant amount of recoil, but also shoots 20 pellets as opposed to 12

Essentially, far more output damage, but alot more spread!

 

 

 

Seal Team 6

Complete playermodel swap

No this doesn't mean I'll swap the playermodels for your faction, it's just these are already on the server and better made

pictured: a seal member, Regret, gassing over the new models

 

 

 

Missions

I somehow managed to fix the remains of our old missions addon

You must be level 15+ and be an officer in order to execute a mission (with the permission if your superiors if they ARE online)

NEVER FUCKING MIND I WASTED WELL OVER 24 HOURS OF MY LIFE AND FAILED HAHA. fuck

 

 

Damage Exclusion Zones

Due to the sheer amount of stupidity that can go around the server, Spawn Rooms and Debrief are damage exclusion zones

Players entering a spawn room or debrief will have to wait 10 seconds, and then they will be god-moded for the duration of their stay

This is done to prevent spawn room/debriefing mass RDMs as well as raids which disrupt debriefs.

 

 

 

Russian Elite : Bulldozer

Juggernaut Equivalent

EOD Suit

Desert Eagle

PK Machine Gun

Frag Grenades

 

 

 

War System

Town Center

This objective will serve as a replacement for Boardwalk due to the sheer amount of negative criticism the objective has received

 

Embassy

The capture zone of this objective has been increased by 15% as to encompass more of the surrounding area as per user requests

 

 

 

Grenades

White Grenades will no longer glitch out into red

Micro FPS optimization was put into place (probably saved you 0.0005 FPS)

Other Changes

Moderators now have the ability to respawn players (No Draggy, admins can't remove warns)

 

Ammoboxes are prettier to look at?

This is a lot of content! Good job Garnet!

The only problem I can see with Godmode in DB is you can't kill trolls that micspam or just keep coming to tryouts/training. Of course, this can be solved by making a report, or having a higher up come and remove the person from the room, or just remove their whitelist.

All other changes look great! Can't wait to buy the new guns and Bulldozer!

CQC finna be fun. Love the community-pulled updates man. Also I love that you brought the ST6 models back into the server's files, they look great. (They might have always been there, idk. From what I remember you removed them from the pack for faster DL)
