  1. Remove Donor Factions Completely Donator factions (MARSOC and Badri 313) have become an outstanding issue within MRP. Not only do these factions not usually get used/bought, but when they do, they steal from the base population from each side of the server. Players that get blacklisted from other factions usually use donator factions and abuse the permissions of donor factions, for example: Hosting tryouts simultaneously as a certain faction does to steal possible members away. Trying to forcefully overrule rulings with a made up rank that they gave to themselves. Is overall a waste of server space and should just be removed entirely due to most members just joining for the snipers. (Aren’t we trying to fix the sniping issue on this map?!) Every faction that is available in the server should have a use. The donor factions inside Garnet Gaming MRP can be seen as more nuisances than actual good that can be done for the server. There are players legitimately using MARSOC as a main faction because it’s all they truly need. I say we COMPLETELY remove donator factions from the server, the player base is somewhat in a struggle as is and having a 4th life friend faction take away members from the already struggling player base takes a toll on the server.

[minimum 2 paragraphs] I plan on using the experience and proficiency I achieved over my time within Garnet Gaming. I have stepped foot in all three of the Garnet Gaming roleplay servers, in which I have acquired unique perspectives and knowledge to further facilitate my ability to be a staff member. My passion for staffing is what sets me apart from others as I use it to strengthen my staffing capabilities and actions. I am very familiar with the rules, responsibilities, and how the staff team operates within the community which has led to me being fully confident in taking initiative on all matters. As an altruistic person, I always think of others before myself. I believe this is important as you can set your priorities on the community and develop an understanding of all perspectives to efficiently engage and implement elements that will benefit the community entirely. I see myself as very extroverted on the server as I go out of my way to assist players by either initiating roleplay or teaching something new. I especially enjoy interacting with new players that join the server to engage, train, and set a positive example for our server - I did this exact method on SWRP and it worked flawlessly. I have engaged hundreds of new players and set a perfect example for them to want to come back yearning more about the server. I am a great leader as I stand out within any group providing initiation and communication. I demonstrated this precisely during my period as a Super Admin on Garnet Gaming StarWarsRP. I developed and led an entire staff team and gamemaster team teaching how to engage players, initiate roleplay, and enforce all regulations to keep the community safe. Also, implemented countless additions to server development which ultimately benefited the server. I wish to use these skills to implement new ideas and additions that will improve the community exponentially. As a community member, I aim to be a role model for others and to create a precedent for others to follow. Through this precedent, I want to create an environment for all players to feel comfortable taking initiative whether it be expressing and discussing ideas or standing out from others to prove potential. As a result, I am confident to say this will benefit the server and I hope the community can give me a chance to prove this. Thank you for taking the time to read my staff application. 3. This would build off of Sailor’s Squad suggestion. This will seem like a bit of a stretch at first, but please be open minded. This would require cooperation between all COLs of every faction [Except ISI and Delta Force]. We are basing this concept off of the Rangers battalion system. There is an underlying problem with the identity of many of the SOC. Many SOC factions specialize in things like CQC when they are a special forces unit (E.G. TSFU and Green Berets). TSFU and Green Berets are special forces units that don't just specify in CQC, they are special forces that don't have any company specifications, but they could be much more specialized. In order to implement this each faction would have to give each individual a trial period to try and play on each type of class. Before a promotion past (e.g SGT) they would be required to pick and try out for each subfaction which would give access to a locked class. T2 AND T3 WOULD DEFAULT TO THE SAME SUBFACTION AS FIGHTER/RIFLEMAN Green Beret: Green Beret is not only a CQC faction it’s one of USA’s many special forces units. We think giving GB a second subfaction to pair with their 7thSFGA would be easily implemented and give more reason to join GB. Instead of the Scout class GB wants to change it to a Heavy class with the M249 (COL approved). The 7thSFGA would keep the tryouts for the Breacher class and a tryout would be added for the Heavy class. The Demolition class would be thrown in with 7thSFGA and the Rifleman/T2/T3/Medic would be in the Heavy’s subfaction. Since O55th has a strong LMG and both GB and O55th are T3 factions GB could compete better against the superior range and explosives that O55th has. Rangers: Since rangers set the standard for this whole suggestion we believe that they are balanced. They are the T2 special forces unit of the US and current competitors of TSFU (tali T2). They have explosives, range, and strong CQC ability. They already use the battalion system (1st 2nd 3rd 4th battalions) and perform amazingly together. They have a safe 3 cap limit to their powerful sniper class much like what TSFU would have. And can keep up with both GB and O55th for CQC. If people believe Rangers need a balance and/or overhaul please feel free (RANGERS ONLY) to comment and share your opinions and ideas. Made by POCKLE and SAILOR

  4. Description: Due to the new use for money, going back to the classic car dealer system, I had a thought. At one point NPCS gave a small amount of cash after each kill. I say we could bring this back for a little bit of money gain. Sure you have other methods, but having a little extra would encourage engagement in PVE situations. No crazy amount of money though. The 10$ was a nice little encourgment. Reasoning: Another little funnel for money, more engagement with PVE events, and more reason for GM's to perform PVE biased events. 5. -1 There are enough snipers in the game as is adding more is only gonna sour the combat even more. This is a take that someone who only snipes would post. We need more accessible shields, smokes, and vehicles. We already have people joining the server and immediately leaving because of how boring wars are for new players. Make combat strategic by giving people ways to combat sniping. Giving everyone a sniper and saying "Its balanced because medics have more smokes and the dude 150 yards away has 15 extra bullets" is just dumb.

  6. +1 Going to break this down as best I can to make the people present in the thread understand why. Rangers has the following, Ghost: SR338 Engineer: Prox mine + LR300 Grenade Launcher Both T2 & T3 both have a weapon with Grenade Launchers as well. This brings them many advantages. Not only can they have the potential to use the GL in CQC they can also Snipe, SR338 is a heavy hitting weapon. Rangers is the only faction that has a T3 class that has a GL and a medbag. TSFU obviously has the bomber but this doesn't make our suggestion invalid. Having one weapon with such power doesn't mean anything in the case. Bomber cant heal itself after use. As a member of TSFU I think its sort of unfair. Rangers blatantly dominate in the sniper category. While I am in a T2 faction I cannot properly counter or even compete unless i spend money (This applies to all T2 & T3 SOC members on tali. I think TSFU needs this upgrade so they can compete with their counterpart. I would like to see this change so that TSFU and Rangers can be equal. Having a well equipped enemy brings many benefits. Both factions can grow from this change skill wise, and will develop many new T1 players. Many factions want to help players improve this is your chance.

  8. With the new addition of cars either being paid for with actual credits or with an overpriced (in my opinion) amount of in-game money, there needs to be an addition of money making methods to the server. Listed below will be a few ideas for possible money making methods that can be utilized in the server. Revert the In-game Words Back to It's Previous State What was the issue with them before? Why was a nerf necessary for the words? It's always been an in-game tactic to grind money from that since there is usually no other way. If there is nothing else implemented for making money, then these could use a buff. Possibly altering and increasing the money per each word would help make money more accessible. Add an In-game Reward After Accomplishing Each War This is a pretty simple addition. After each war finishes, there is usually a winner/loser (in some instances a tie), the winner of each war should get a bonus of $10,000 dollars for winning, the losers should only get a $5,000 dollar reward because they lost. I see this as a good addition for three reasons: This can promote more AFKing on the server, this relatively boosts population and can persuade people to hop on the server. This can also help ACTIVE members of the community buy things such as vehicles, armory weapons, and transportation (if it gets added back). This keeps members entertained! With winners gaining more than the losers, it can incentivize winning for both sides of the server. The only issue I see with this is hardcore inflation, but it's an MRP server at the end of the day, there is no true economy system. Add an In-game Reward for EACH Kill in War This may have already been suggested, however, a person should receive money and experience points from killing someone during war. This can incentivize being better at the game more and will actually give people another reason to participate in war. As a proposal, the amount of money someone receives for a kill in war will be based on weapon type. For example, if someone gets a pistol kill, they will get $250. If they kill with a shotgun, $200 is rewarded. If they kill with an SMG, $150. If they kill with AR/LMG, $100. SNIPER AND EXPLOSIVE SHOULD GET NO REWARD I also want these to be rewarded for kills that are done whilst defending OBJ. This promotes CQC warfare in the server and will stop heavy sniping battles. Also, add a streak of killing. If someone kills with a pistol for say and they get 2 kills without dying, they are rewarded double. 3 kills are rewarded triple, and so forth. Streaks are reset when either a different gun is used. Bring Back the Casino to Desert (Very Low Possibility) The casino was a fun way of grinding hard earned cash. With a little bit of an addiction and knowing how to gamble, you would get a lot just by gambling. Everyone enjoys a little bit of gambling from time to time and that's why I think it should be added. However, this is a very short term map. Adding a casino I don't think is worth it in the long run BUT it would overall be better for the server in my opinion. Lower Prices This is a fairly simple request, the cheapest car within the server is $650,000. Now I know that cars shouldn't be accessible to everyone, however cars were extremely under utilized on Delta and now they have begun to be even more under utilized. I'd say the average player on MRP would have around $250,000 to $300,000 stashed away. I don’t think all prices of cars should be cut, however, the relatively “bad” cars should be cut down. I think that the prices should be cut in half or even a little more than that for those types of cars, this would give the average experienced player a chance at obtaining a car. Finally, Expand Salary Each whitelist on the server gets an income bonus from being on the whitelist, these bonuses are extremely little. I think adding an actual salary within the server would create lots of accessibility with money. I think the base salary for people should be $1,500 to $3,000. These salaries would increase based on the whitelist. SOC whitelists should get more of a salary for joining a SOC, officer whitelists should also gain more money due to them grinding for their position. DISCLAIMER: Like I said, these are all propositions for the server. I don’t expect each and every suggestion in here to be implemented into the server, I just want to get ideas out there.

  9. Suggestion: QOL Changes Description: Faction Classes Reworks Taliban Changes : Cap Sniper to 4 through 5; Increase Damage to 125 (Balance); Make it First Shot Accurate (Balanced Edit; Sniper Heavy Map + An Easy Accessible Class for Newer Players) Taliban Army: Support Gets Three CW 2.0 Smoke Grenades (Alleviates Some of the Sniping LOS + Make The Smokes Refillable) Add an RPK Magazine Attachment to Add 15 Bullets (Ty Smity) US Changes : Cap Sniper to 4 through 5 (Sniper Heavy Map + An Easy Accessible Class for Newer Players) Give Support Three CW Smoke Grenades (Alleviates Some of the Sniping LOS + Make The Smokes Refillable) Pistol Damage 26 to 30 (Argument is for new players, make it slightly easier for them to do damage as support.) Rangers Changes : Rangers Ghost Whitelist 3 -> 2 (Country Side of things) Push @Joe1 and @BrianTheilliterate to make Sniper requirements nothing, every single player can access Sniper through tryouts. Make tryouts slightly more difficult but make sure to focus on tryouts that practice head glitching and cover)

  10. +1 - This may be shocking to see, BUT - despite everything, I do think special always has good intentions and can be a huge asset to any team. Though we may disagree/butt heads every so often, in terms of a staff member, there are few more competent, dedicated, and motivated than special. Good Luck.

  11. +1, don’t get me wrong I know he makes good money off of the dono factions. But it is a redundant towards both factions. When someone buys MARSOC they no longer want to do activities or be involved with anyone except for fellow MARSOC players. If we’re going to buddy buddy up in a faction, let’s leave it to the T1 factions that actually require some aspect of skill to get into, not a tryout someone came up with using what are likely 8 month old documents from someone else’s RP fac

  13. This argument doesnt make sense because donor factions are temporary subscriptions, the main part of this post is to remove donor factions from future use not remove the ones that are active right now.

  15. +1, I really like this idea as me personally since we have switched to CS Desert I have barely used the TSFU Whitelists outside of tryouts because the lack of ranged options. Despite having SVT it still does not compete with most snipers. (if any) I agree with everything BenZ says above here, the bomber really isnt very useful in war especially on the current map so the argument that we have that doesnt make much sense to me.

  19. Last I knew, if there was a good reason, subfactions were allowed as long as there was a good reason, as well as restricting classes being up to the leader. (Rangers) This is also more of a faction suggestion then a server one. If you're talking about squads, again, this is up to the faction leader. The problem with subfactions before were people got incredibly elitist and it became a handpick kind of thing (19D) Alternatively, it became meme tier. (Pink Group) In regards to balancing SOC whitelists, that should be a different thread entirely.

  20. Subfaction idea is mainly based on rangers 2BAT, 3BAT, 1BAT, 4BAT. Doesnt divide the faction or seperate leadership. it creates a more "This is your job in the faction" if someone plays Sniper they would fall under rangers 2BAT. TSFU would most likely create a similar system. it would create sort of an MOS for members. This would make it so we can fight our respective tier.

  21. +1 all of these are good ideas and with permission from the Faction Leaders it would give you a reason to join a soc faction you like and not just for the weapons.

  23. Yes, I understand Rangers 'ghosts' acts similar to the suicide bomber class in that thats its the SOC special class but Rangers also has a fuckin proxy mine which in my personal opinion is better than the suicide bomber. No one uses the current SVT-40 its a semi auto doggy ass weapon and honestly the militant class is very under-used aswell this is because the Toz is also pretty doggy. We are getting a suicide bomber class nerf and getting a better weapon that is going to be more likely to be used. If the Tier system is set up in the way that it is meaning that Rangers and TSFU are the same Tier why wouldnt they both be more long-range focused I mean that seems like a higher caliber of skill than CQC TL:DR Rangers & TSFU are same tier so it would be fair to say they retain the same 'niches'. Combatant and Militant are both classes that are extremely under-used suicide bomber is getting a nerf to bring TSFU on the same level as rangers and this seems completely fair. (Idk what the subfaction stuff is about but splitting the faction in two and creating two different forms of leadership for almost every soc faction [if thats what you're saying] is something that I dont think pop can handle currently but the class changes are def something that should be considered) +111111111111

  25. [MRP] Reserves System Effective Immediately: All past reserves will be wiped in 30 days. Players are still welcome to come off reserves within those 30 days. If you come off reserves you are subject to evaluations by the faction leader to make sure you meet today’s standards. This means you may not be an O-1 immediately and could be placed anywhere between E-1 & O-1. Moving Forward: Reserves will be granted for the following reasons: Player has a legitimate life event or factor that is preventing them from playing the game. The player wishes to take an extended break from the server. Rules: You may not join or progress in another faction while on reserves. It is a global rank lock. When you return from reserves, you will have the same rank as when you left. You may only request Reserves once per tenure in a faction. IE: If you request reserves once in Green Beret, you may not do it again unless you completely leave GB and return at a later date. Reserves last 90 days, at which point they will be removed. You may extend your Reserve time with valid reasoning. Burnout is not a valid reason. Things like deployment or PC issues are. Reserves are granted solely by the Faction Leader, who must notify executives so they can properly document the time and reason. Consistently playing (Circa 5hr/week) while on reserves will result in your status being changed from Reserve to Active. Faction Leaders May request reserves HOWEVER upon returning, they will be demoted 2 ranks. O-11 > O-9 and O-6 > O-4 respectively. When going on reserves they must immediately appoint a successor. The successor must approve the request in this case.

  26. 2GA and GRU unmerging Wiping both faction officers unless some persona apply. Give 2GA a good capable marshal @Vibe and give GRU an actual Soc leader who knows what they are doing. Mainly focus on the health of 2GA and not giving it to retards (you know who you are ). Compared to Army, 2GA is nothing. Now for GRU give it a capable leader or someone who you want to give a try because GRU isn't supposed to be the greatest faction (being lowest tier soc) but also providing added skill upon 2GA. GRU right now is not a SOC tbh. The GRU title is just given out to officers it seems. That's just my two cents on the topic. Nothing gonna happen probably
