Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]:

Why should I be chosen over other applicants? Well I think the best way to answer that question would be to first go into a little bit of my history in Garry’s Mod. I first started playing Garry’s Mod in 2015 and ever since then I have been an active member of many different communities, accumulating approximately 5000 hours in the game so far. DarkRP was the first type of server I ever joined and it was on the streets of downtown where I learned the basics of gmod RP. Since that time I’ve always enjoyed DarkRP, it is truly a unique gameplay experience that you can’t really get anywhere else which has had me returning to play it many times. In fact, the first time I played on Garnet was back in 2019. Over the years I have gained a key understanding on how the gamemode is played as well as what is and isn’t acceptable in roleplay scenarios. As for the rest of my time in gmod, it was spent mostly in StarwarsRP. That gamemode combined my love for Garry's mod and Star Wars into something I quite enjoyed. It is where I gained the bulk of my game hours and roleplay experience with me holding numerous RP leadership roles and being heavily involved in event planning.

I would next like to expand more on my experience as a staff member in Garry’s Mod. Since starting in my first staff position back in late 2015, I have gained years of experience in server moderation and administration in both DarkRP and StarwarsRP. I have extensive knowledge of gmod staff commands, tools, and administrative mods such as ULX, Serverguard, & SAM. When it comes to the core duties of a staff member which is rule enforcement & handling reports, I believe that I am extremely qualified for these tasks. Over the course of my time in various staff positions I have dealt with likely thousands of situations ranging from simple failrp & rdm to more complex issues between players, staff, & even other servers. Additionally, I am well versed in all matters of staff and server management due to me having the privilege of leading 2 staff teams as well as being a Co-Owner in the past. Although all servers structure their staff differently, I do have a strong understanding on how an administrative team should function and how to effectively play my part within one. I have already taken the time to read some of the staff information available here on the Garnet website to familiarize myself with how you guys operate including staff rules, rank permissions, punishment guidelines, promotion guidelines, and the 3 staff divisions (HR, Ops, & GM). I look forward to learning more about how these divisions work, in particular I believe I could make use of my skills from SWRP event hosting to be a competent GM or apply my previous management experience to help out in HR.

Lastly, I’d like to give you an understanding on how I like to conduct myself in-game both as a player and staff member. If you’ve ever been around me then you’ve probably noticed I don’t say much which is fairly typical of me. I’m an extremely calm and reserved person that never reacts emotionally to anything that is said or done to me. In fact, friends that have known me for years have jokingly said that I constantly sound depressed (I’m not lol). When interacting with people I always try to maintain a positive relationship with everyone even if I may disagree with them. Getting involved in arguments or controversy with other players is not something I'm interested in and I avoid drama like the plague. When it comes to how I conduct myself as a staff member, I take great pride in acting professionally and with tact. I have always been a by-the-book staff member that will enforce the rules as written and will not insert any personal bias or opinion in my judgments. Furthermore, I have an extremely dim view of staff abuse and will never use powers in any inappropriate manner. I am a firm believer that staff members should be held to a higher standard than that of a regular player and should be fully accountable for their actions no matter their rank or title. I myself would welcome any feedback or constructive criticism on my staff performance as there is always room for improvement.

In conclusion I'd like to say that playing on Garnet has reignited my passion for playing Garry's Mod and I'd like the opportunity to help out the server in the best way I know how. Although it has been a few years since I've been a staff member in DarkRP I am eager to sink my teeth into it once again. I am confident that I can apply my game knowledge as well as prior staff experience to be a valuable and contributing member of the Garnet DarkRP team. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I do have a full time job but I can be on 2 to 4 hours on a weekday, much more on the weekend.

If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod?: Gaming in general, PC building, watching T.V. shows & movies. I am also a university graduate with a degree in business administration. I’m currently employed as an office administrator at my local municipality.

He is actually a really good friend of mine and totally not bias here but he is an excellent person and has been and will always continue to be an excellent staff member. I had actually planned on giving him my referral today but he posted his app before I could. Anyways everything he said above is completely true. His vast knowledge of being a staff member on countless server will be a great asset to this team. While he isn't very sociable (likes to be to himself) with others he does try his best to interact with others. I actually owned the server he talked about in his past staff experience and trusted him with the rank I gave him and he didn't disappoint me in any way. If you were to give him a chance and pass him on to the interview trust me in saying that you will not be disappointed. His past experience on darkRP alone should be enough to get him in. Give him a chance.

Haven't interacted with you in-game I don't believe but I have seen you on a lot lately. While I can't speak for my personal experiences I will commend you for your application, at least. Your app is very well written and detailed, you do meet all requirements and your previous staff experience is both lengthy and wide. I've never heard anything negative about you from anyone in-game or ever seen you break rules, so with that I see no reason to not give you my support.

To start off I believe that players should all be given a chance in what they want. For that reason I reviewed the application and it seems that he is seriously interested in the server. He seems like a genuine guy and he wants to help people for the best.
