Shin Tsukimi Resignation

This is it...

Back in may 2nd, 2022, I ended up resigning. I came back after a while, and I did enjoy it. But lately, that enjoyment has faded, and life has taken over. I broke my arm during October 30th, to the point where even now I require physical therapy. I am also starting a new semester, and I am getting really involved in things outside the virtual world. I want to spend my time with my friends, doing things I enjoy, and learning in college, which I will be leaving to focus on. On top of all this, I am burnt out beyond belief. I talked to proggy last month about this, but I haven't found any joy in DarkRP in months, every time I hop on it's just business 95% of the time. I tried to back away this month and take a break, but even that did not work. Rather than sit around inactive for months, which is not fair to any of you, I have decided to resign. 

 

I want to thank @Proggy and @Nutter for the opportunity to staff here, I really appreciated my time here, but I'm excited to just be a normal player again and drop by every so often. I would write more, but I would just be copy-pasting what I said last time.

 

@ChrisRid you deserve manager above anyone else, you are the only one who I know for sure wants it for the good of the server, not his own power, like I did and other current managers did. I hope you get it after my resignation at some point. I'll be rooting for you.

@KingMash keep up the good work man, you deserve it too. Your dedication is not unnoticed.

You guys are some of the best people I've ever met in my life, and meeting you guys alone made managing darkrp as long as I did worth it. You guys go above and beyond, and have been a rock for me. I hope I can be a rock for you guys whenever you need it.

@stretchy Proud of you man, you are fucking amazing. Keep up the awesome work, and if you ever need someone to hang out with (or kick your ass at scrabble) you know where my dms are.

Rather than rewrite everything however, I will be leaving my @'s at that, I stand by the ones I made on my old resignation (link at the top)

 

I really appreciate the people I've gotten the chance to meet and know through this position, and I won't be completely gone. I'll lurk in the DarkRP staff discord as the emote gremlin (as per usual) and I might hop on every so often.

Everything good comes to an end, and now it's my time to leave the stage, and allow someone to take my spotlight. Besides, now I can be one of those grumpy veteran players who say "back in my day" and all that shit while sitting in a rocking chair.

 

I'm excited to see where this takes me next, and...

It’s super sad to see such an amazing manager leave, the amount you’ve done for the community over the years is incredible! You’ll certainly go down as one of the best staff of all time. Besides that though, I’m just glad to have found an awesome friend here One of the greatest things about Garnet is the people, and likewise you’re one of the select few who I can say I have full trust in, a permanent MVP.

Even though I don't remember a lot of the experiences we had years ago I know that we had tons of fun together, you became part of the staff team before I left and 2 years after I found that you were a manager, I was amazed and happy to see a familiar face get to such position after I came back. I hope you still get on the server from time to time and you don't lose touch with the community. Good luck to Shin the future psychologist in whatever life has to offer to you!
