Optimization Patch

30+ hours on the test server = fried brain

Without overinflating the results of what I've managed to do to the server, all my testing concluded came out to a 25% improvement in FPS. I tried different methodologies and utilizing ~50+ bots and 10k map props to prove my figures wrong, but it looks like I really just managed to improve server FPS by 25-30% depending on your system.

Players who have previously gotten 90 FPS at peak times in the past, will be looking at ~115 FPS, which is a pretty huge jump  hopefully everybody enjoys this upgrade!

 

 

Miscellaneous

Assassin Model

Fixed the Assassin class visual glitch when holding a brick SWEP

 

 

Keypads

Set the limit to 8 (previously 10) as to only allocate 2 keypads per door

 

NOTE: Keypads will not render out of view, however, their buttons may disappear when you're a significant distance away from them - please be mindful of this change everybody!

 

 

Dumpster

Updated Base Code

Props and entities dropping from a dumpster dive will now collide with the dumpster itself, but not with eachother, additionally, props will stay for 10 seconds (previously 3) allowing you to pick through the debris for your entities!

 

 

ClearChat

Command Implemented

As requested by @Proggy for when people are being naughty, a /clearchat command has been added for all Admins+

Its purpose is self explanatory, and if you need an explanation, please resign from the staff team

 

 

Vending Machine

Updated Base Code

Players no longer need to die/respawn in order to re-purchase items

 

 

Perma Props Tool

Fixed Base Code

No longer will perma propped props be no-collided to where players can stand inside of them, IE: dumpsters/vending machine

@Proggy please replace all the current permaprops :^)

 

 

Q Menu

All our server's tools were put into one singular category for ease of use - unutilized tools were removed

Awesome update! And the performance boost is awesome. To be fair, my FPS has never been an issue (other than when the RPG death match event took place) but any boost is always appreciated Love the fixes too, so glad we can buy perks after switching jobs now. Great work as always
